Inexpensive with great features...incl mic input

Canon SL2 -- Still A Diamond

Even given it's age, it parallels and even outperforms some newer cameras with updated tech (IMHO). I honestly don't believe enough people knew about or still know about the power of the SL2. Canon's incredibly friendly user-interface still leads the pack. I will eventually buy another one to future-proof me from $2k - $4K cameras just to have the latest tech! I want to spend my time taking photos & learning to do it better...the SL2 has more than enough tech to continuously challenge my learning curve while allowing me to enjoy the art. Enuff said.
