perfect for cheese
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Purchased to seal home smoked blue cheese ( hard to find commercially due to being live culture ) as in zip lock bags tended to dry out and get nibbled, when opened 6 weeks later in perfect condition and the smoking had matured the cheese nicely. Since used it to bag some cooked rice for the freezer.
Tried it on its various different settings as initially softer cheese was getting a bit squashed but the normal/gentle and dry/moist controls enabled me to get a setting that was right for the product.
quality looks to be good it feels well made and not flimsy, other machines in its price range look to be very similar but lack the adjustability of the electriQ which I have found to be useful

Great for a wood lathe
Chinese made and at a bargain price so wouldn't expect the finest quality or precision but for use on my 12 inch woodworking lathe ( also Chinese of course ) perfect no need to pay more.

ideal for picnics
there are 2 versions of these bird knives the other type have a coloured wing and a small chain fitted but the blades are loose, this type is the better knife as the blade remains tight during use.
be warned they are very sharp I mainly use it as a lemon slicer for gin and tonics especially useful when on picnics as the blade is safely covered and cannot damage any bag it is packed in
