All is well,but I will research more and buy a German or Japenese made item
First off ,it's clear optics allow for good detail bird watching.I was able to do the parks weekly bird survey ,without much eye strain. The durable rubber jacket is important,since I don't always put the binocular back in it's case. Focus was simple and accurate .I was unsure about the price at first.But wonder if Nikon is Japan or Chinese ? I am trying not to purchase China Made products,did'nt know at the time of purchase.This item is fine and close tolerances for a solid feel.
