depenable little notebook
I've had my S10-3 for about 6 months now. It's been a great little notebook. My wife and I take it when we travel. Window 7 starter is not awesome compared with Windows 7 Ultimate but it gets the job done if you're just surfing, checking email, blogging, picture viewing, watching movies, and writing word docs. Built-in WIFI connects easy. It was a little too slow for me with the stock 1G RAM so I upgraded it to 2G of RAM (only ONE DIMM slot so keep that in mind). I love the keyboard on this model (good design Lenovo) I can actually type faster with this keyboard style, which comes in handy on airplanes. It's not a laptop for gaming or processor intensive apps but all in all it's a decent netbook for students or travelers. I think it blows the HP & EEE PCs away by far. The battery life is actually pretty good. I've gone for 2+ hours and still have some left. The built in camera is really dark and fuzzy looking (need a well lit environment to use it).

great for living in a noisy neighborhood
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Been using this for about a year now and it's been solid, no problems with it. Usually turn it on for Saturday and Sunday mornings when I want to sleep in. Great for dealing with barking dogs, lawn mowers, cars & trucks, and people talking. Has a lot of filter settings so you can tune the white noise to a particular frequency range you are trying to cover. This takes a little bit of listening and adjustment but it's worth it. Just wish it came with a power adapter instead of a USB cable (runs off 5volt USB).
