Glycemic Index book review
I have other GI books, but the Complete Idiot's Guide to Glycemic Index Weight Loss is much more descriptive about what GI is and how it is used to regulate food intake and metabolism. I like the fact that it includes meal menus.

Love electric pressure cookers!
I bought this to replace my original electric pressure cooker (different brand) that the movers didn't pack well and the base broke. I love it! The only drawback is that the steam release is all or nothing. On my other PC, I could let it out a little at a time. Not a big deal I guess, I'll get used to it. On the plus side, this one has a sous vide option - very cool!! Have used the pressure cooker option and it works great. Used the sous vide on bacon - that isn't the best test, tho it seems to work fine.
