Dangerous on pavement, great on dirt
I put these tires on my Coleman BT200X mini bike. The center tread on the front tire causes the bike to become unstable during turns on pavement. As the bike is leaned in a turn the contact patch changes and the handlebars twist quickly. I have varied the air pressure but the results are the same. As an adult I’ve come to expect it but I no longer let my daughters drive it on pavement. The tires also wear quickly on pavement.
What is a con on pavement is a pro on dirt. I do most of my riding on the single track trails on my property. The front tire does not wash out in corners like my stock front tire did. They seem to do well in dry and damp conditions. I try not to ride in the mud as the trails take to long to restore.
