Sky+ 1TB replacement drive

So this is not actually the 1.5TB drive in the photo - what was shipped was a 2TB compatible equivalent. For me this was excellent as I'm guessing the original drive that shipped with my Sky+ 1TB box is no longer available - and although I'm reasonably technical I could not work out the compatibility matrix from any of the Western Digital sites. It's quite a pain to replace - Sky/Samsung make sure you have to dissemble most of the chassis and half the circuit boards to get it out - but this replacement has the same connections and mounting holes - and booted up fine once reassembled. Hopefully will give me another 2-3 years out of my unit before planned obsolescence strikes again. Thanks Lotus Solutions - Clever strategy.
