Large enough to fit into Tape Compartment and reach tape head's.
It is old but it is good quality. Made in usa. Radio Shack items were good quality until they started shifting manufacturing to Taiwan and then worse, to China. That pretty much did them in after a couple of years.

OEM radio for my new ride. aka, cannot stand any aftermarket radios.
Item was well packed. No evidence of any damage. Have not installed it yet. Weather has been difficult to obtain time to install product. From the external finish of the radio it should work fine. Will try and install it this weekend. Update:Got to install the radio today 3/26/17. Had no problems with installation. Unit worked fine. Display was perfect. Should be happy for many years with my vehicle now. One year till retirement. Thank you very much
