Great little book
Always good to read anything by Christopher Lloyd, an expert in communication about gardening matters

Imperfect but good connector
A connector made of good quality plastic
It was bought to replace a solid brass connector - it had never leaked, but surprisingly snapped
I don't think this one will snap.. but it does leak
The trouble is the limits of the technology here and there is probably no such thing as a perfect connector for the garden tap, because of water pressures
Being bright yellow means it is easy to see as my tap is concealed
