Challenging and fun
As usual with the ABRSM books, there is plenty of challenge and fun in mastering these well-written pieces for a variety of recorder groups.

Good value collection of 1950's jazz
An enjoyable collection of jazz featuring a well-known saxophone player. The package reproduces four original vinyl long-playing records, so is very good value for money. The recordings have been transferred well from vinyl to CD. A very well worthwhile addition to any jazz-lover's CD collection.

More saxophone delights from a master
If you like tuneful music played brilliantly by a remarkable saxophonist, you will enjoy this disk. The Debussy Rapsodie and the Glazunov Concerto are to be found on many compilation disks, but the Villa-Lobos and the Bennett were new to me and wonderful to hear. Everything is expertly played by John Harle and the accompaniment by the Academy of St Martin's in the Fields conducted my Neville Marriner is of the best quality. Thorughloy recommended.
