A good informative read
I found this historical review of the period factually informative with a political slant that enhanced rather than detracted from the 'facts'.

A pleasure to use
It is light, well balanced on my Panasonic GX80, the internal zooming makes it a pleasure in action, and the images it produces are sharper and more dynamic than I might have expected. It matches or exceeds the good reviews I had read about it.

Convenient and effective.
I previously had an 'Auto Open' lens cap on a Lumix LX100 that worked perfectly. The only difference between the two is that the one for the Lumix G Vario 12-32mm lens is deployed manually i.e. as you twist the lens barrel to deploy lens. As with any attachment near the objective lens there can be concern that vignetting might occur, however I cannot see any at any focal length. The cap is a push fit that is gripped by the splines on the lens and on the cap. Very convenient, an excellent product, well made - recommended.
