Perfect match - Seymour Duncan Pegasus and Sentient 7
I bought my 7 string used. Schecter Damien FR-7. Great looking and playing guitar when set up rightt, but the tone out of the stock EMG HZ 7's was muddy and dull. Adding these pickups was night and day in terms of the tone. Beware though, each note is more articulated, but the bright side is it forces you to play less sloppy. Pairing this with my MXR Fullbore Metal pedal should be all the grunt one would ever need. There is perfect balance among all frequencies on both pickups. The Sentient, combined with a healthy dose of reverb sounds amazing for shredding leads.
BEWARE... I didn't know when I bought them, but they are too big for the stock pickup cutouts on the guitar, and the mounting is a little different, so I had to do the unthinkable and take a router to the body of my guitar! However, if you don't have a custom finish (mine is typical satin black), have a VERY steady hand, and plan out your work, you can do amazing work and be proud!

Perfect for the display I'm going for. Would use to play too if I needed to.

Fender LSR Roller Nut
I just installed this on a Fender Showmaster. Same first as a Strat. Not too bad too install if you plan it out and take your time. The sizes of drill bit and philips driver are critical as noted in instructions. Came out great for me, but unless you have a lot of patience, I'd recommend a luthier installing it. As far as performance, I noticed the problem string I always had with knocking out of tune (G) was only slightly improved. Could be other setup issues that I'll have to look into, but overall I think I had the bridge set up fairly well. Looks pretty spiffy on the guitar though!
