Great pics and easy to use
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich Just came back from a vacation where my host allowed me to borrow her camera. It was the C-730. It takes great pictures, was easy to use, lightweight and fits neatly in the hand. I am now setting about buying one for myself. My camera is a huge SLR Canon that I wasn't about to lug around. I'm a convert at last to digital.
There were only 2 very minor drawbacks: The shutter speed is a bit sluggish (only a bit) and the sun was so bright it was somewhat hard to see the image in the viewfinder without shading it with your free hand. (Having a viewfinder and not just the rear panel display is a plus, so maybe I should call it even).
You won't be disappointed with this camera.

I have not read this book...
However, I have read every other book in this highly acclaimed series about the Casson family. They're a family dealing with an absent father, and distant but loving mother. The chaotic household is held together by the children who don't always make the right decisions, but are always trying the best they can with the hand they're dealt.
So keep your eyes open for Saffy's Angel, Indigo's Star, Permanent Rose, Caddy Everafter and this the 5th and final book in the series (sniff, sniff).
I also recommend Hilary McKay's other books: Dolphin Luck, Amber Cat and the Exile series.

Original, gripping storytelling.
This story is not just for high school or college kids. Adults will find it just as gripping and powerful.
You can read a review and get the details of the story, so I will just say that when I read the last page and closed the book I sat there holding it for a long time. The pull this story had on me could not be broken suddenly but had to be gradually let go. Zusak is a gifted writer and I cannot wait to read another of his stories.
