Book brings the island to life.
Ordered book at a very good price. I was researching the island of Guernsey around 1939-1948 and felt that pictures from the past would bring everything to life. The book actually contained a photograph of a long lost relative, which was fantastic. It also gives the name changes of certain properties over the years. A very interesting book which is highly recommended.
