Good Nighttime Help
I get lots of canker sores so I know the market for canker sore "remedies" pretty well. For sores on gums or the opposing mouth skin, these really are great. I wouldn't even bother trying to use one of these during the day, but after cleaning my teeth at night, put one over the sore. These soften into a very gooey glob that lays over the area. Without mouth acid hitting the sore, it gets a chance to heal up. A few days of using these often brings relief. Unfortunately, I've never found anything that can be used for the sores that are more in the throat area, but at least for me, most aren't and these things really do help with diligent night use.

In the Heart of the Sea is Mesmerizing! Perfect Storm, Not So Much
I love In the Heart of the Sea! Engaging ~ it draws a person in. I say that as someone who had read the book and we all know the movie will usually disappoint~ but it didn't. I actually watched it three nights in a row. The Perfect Storm was a decent evening's entertainment but, for my part, nothing more. I wondered over and over why it got as much attention as it did. Both movies were made to loosely capture real life events and that almost always makes a compelling story. In the Heart of the Sea has a very high rewatchability factor. I've read enough reviews of Perfect Storm to know that others would say that it, too, does. Not for me, though.

Clings to car windows, BUT.....
Bought these so I could install one inside a car window to be visible from out of the car. Just dampened the window and pushed the butterfly cling on with a dry paper towel. Months later, it's still there. However.... the seller bought it from Amazon ~ obviously for less than I paid for it ~ and it was delivered to me directly from there. boy, did I feel like a sap! The moral of the story is, buy it from... well, you know.
