Loud, but enough suction to be useful for small stuff.
I bought this product lightly used. My first thought when turning it on was that it's loud. Then again, most shop vacs are. It definitely produces enough suction to be useful, especially with the regular nozzle and the detail tool.
The 1 1/4" hose really isn't that big, so I've had a few problems with wood scraps getting stuck in the ridges of the hose.
Compared to a 5+ gallon shop vac, it can't handle much fine dust before clogging the filter. The filter can be banged out like any other, but it's something to keep in mind. Milwaukee's backpack vac or maybe one of the compact models with pre-separation would be a better choice for that task.
As another reviewer mentioned, having the switch on the same side as the hose outlet would make it easier to toggle the power, but these are all minor complaints for a product that has a definite place in my tool kit.

Good price ($13) for good blades
Used with M18 Fuel Hackzall to chop limbs from 1-3" thick, no issues, except for tip wobble when only a short section of the blade near the shoe is engaged. I suspect that's a universal issue. I also used this blade to rip knotty logs down the middle (4+ inches of material) and it performed admirably. I've probably made 200+ cuts with one blade and it still has about half of it's low friction paint coating on it. No carbide tooth damage.
