The old school MTX dude
I was in car audio from 92-99 on the distribution side anyway. We had gotten the MTX line in 97 and it was our best quality brand by far. Back then they were built in AZ and was not cheap. I did manage to get myself a 4300x in 98. Regular Dealer cost in my book shows them @ $250. If you had a retail shop & was 50 miles away from the next MTX authorized dealer that is what you paid. MTX supplied us with the dealers books to give them that had the prices printed that they were to sell them for. Sell them lower than what's in black & white and you would probably loose the brand. What was the suggested retail price you ask?? how about $499.95-$549.95. yes sir . My cost was as low as it got & I paid $175. I still have it & build sheet shows 67wpc@4ohm @12.5v. 118wpc @2ohm @12.5v (STEREO NOT MONO). MTX went overseas alone with everyone else in 1999-2000. That's went I quit & left the car audio world behind. Then e bay killed any 12v market as the only shops still around survive on installations I am guessing. Anyway, I buy them from time to time on this wh@rehouse and loving every minute of it. They are heavy and solid performers. If you can get one around $100, snatch it up! thx mike bham

MTX 1" soft dome ( kinda like MTXs 98 T5NEO )

Hooked up to a mid90s 120w per channel Carver m240. My neighbors like it when I listen to Ted Nugent, Kevin Gates ugh not to much. One hell of a value here folks better grab'em before there gone.

Gotta love saving serious money
