CPU bought to upgrade from Dual Core to Quad Core
8 von 9 finden das hilfreich For very little money, the Quad Core CPU is still quite popular, even in 2012, about 10 years after it first came out in 2007. The upgrade will double your CPU count and it is easy enough to do, (depending on the PC you have). Make sure your CPU fan can handle it, I was lucky as my PC Tower already had a very good upgraded CPU fan / cooler. I was able to do the upgrade myself after watching a YouTube video of someone doing it to their exact same model PC as I own. Just make sure the BIOS is current and updated to handle this before you install it and you can have fun doing your own upgrade. (All the technical information about this once expensive CPU is at ark dot intel). If you bought one, good luck and enjoy the extra CPU Cores!

Very fast and very high quality Lenovo Desktop Computer
I have heard that Lenovo is a respected brand and I agree, although I disagree that it is a high quality product only meant for the professional user or big enterprise type businesses. I really enjoy mine for home use and even gaming too. I think the higher quality is because Lenovo was once a division of IBM. It shows in the plain looking case style, but I don't care about the looks, because this computer really runs fast in everyday tasks and helps me get my work done quickly. I even have time left over for some powerful or serious games too. My only warning... don't settle for one with less that a Terabyte Hard Drive and 8 Gigabytes of memory. The new Windows 10 Pro really works best with 8 or more gigs and I save a ton of movies, so my old 500 GB drive filed up way too early and the upgrade tom 1TB was needed. Other than that, I'm very happy with my very fast and very high quality Lenovo Desktop Computer and give it a 5 out of 5 stars!

PNY branded Nvidia GTX 465 Fermi PCI Express 2.0 x16 is a great video card!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Even though the PNY GTX 465s are discontinued items, they were great cards. Many of them had all the power of the higher end still made GTX 470s with a true GF-100-275-A3 GPU and 10 RAM chips on board, but the higher features in the cards were disabled so PNY could sell them at greatly reduced prices. I was able to get one of these PNY 465 cards on eBay and flash the BIOS to GTX 470 specification. (Not a procedure for the faint of heart because it can void any remaining warranty). In my case it worked. The card jumped almost 1000 points from the 2,490 G3D Mark Performance of a stock 465 to an impressive 3,384 points of the G3D Mark (stock 470 speed) without any issues. The physical RAM, which had been partially disabled, now was fully enabled and went from 1024 MB (1 GB) to 1280 MB (1,25 GB) like the 470s have. I am using the 465 as the lead card in SLI mode with a stock 470 and it has given me the highest rating one can get in the Windows Experience point system, (using Windows 7 x64 bit). All-in-all, this video card was a good eBay purchase. For the purpose of this review I used the non-partial high end video card stats at the PassMark Video Card Benchmark website.
