Gray Armrest Center Console Cover For Honda Pilot 09-13

Better than the original, but..

after ordering to replace my torn one (which I learned my OEM was vinyl, not leather) I thought it was going to be a cheap job for an upholsterer in Southern Cal. seeing I had already disassembled the cover lid from the rest of the console. A car upholstery place wanted $80. Couldn't justify paying that much as I am a DIY'r for a lot of other things. I removed the old vinyl, pulled out all the old staples (like 80 of em) and tried my staple gun, which wouldn't penetrate the plastic. I had an air powered stapler, but the minimum it would use is 1/2" staples which almost penetrated the other side. I went to Home Depot and bought a pneumatic stapler that used smaller staples (1/4") and did it in about 15 minutes. Cost about $40 for the stapler. Took a little patience to line up, pull it taught with a pair of needle nose, staple the heck out of it. Looks great, much better than the original vinyl. Just hope my first time upholstery staple job holds up.

Inexepensive fix, got the job done

inexpensive fix for my daughters trx90. The old chain had snapped and this was an inexpensive fix for not only the chain, but the sprockets as well. It was my first time changing out those components, not a difficult job. The only issue that I had was that I think a couple links need to be removed from the new chain, as it sits right at the outer limit of the chain tension-er. Put it through an hour or so of use so far , so good.
