Time will tell
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Bought this to replace a Fantech fan that had run 10-years but was making lots of noise. The new RadonAway fan provided similar suction, ran with similar power consumption but was much quieter than the older Fantech unit. Time will tell if it lasts as long as the original Fantech unit.
One thing that is important to note: I needed to buy different PCV mating pieces because they were different than what was on the original Fantech unit. These components were readily available for under $15 at The Home Depot and Lowes. Your installation may vary. By doing the replacement myself, it cost me less than half of what the Radon Mitigation company would have charged me. The job took less than 1 hour, not including the trip to get PVC parts.
