I was born and raised in Australia, but I came to the United States in 1997 and I joined the Army the same year as a green card holder. I felt that this country was nice enough to give me a chance, I would defend it. I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and I was medically retired in 2008 after I got both my citizenship on the first day of my second deployment and I was shot and blown up in the same ambush. I would not change anything.
