Adequate for my needs.
It fits the bill, no complaints. Quality is as expected considering the price.

A great purchase, very satisfied with the price and performance of gear display!
I purchased it for my 2011 Ninja 400 (It was chancy since it wasn't listed as compatible) Upon receiving it I just lifted my seat off and once I removed the dummy plug from the diagnostics port, plugged it in, fired the bike up and it worked perfectly. The wire then gets hidden the best you can, and it sticks on the front inside panel with the 2 sided tape attached to it. I use it frequently when riding the bike, its very handy. It will only update the display after the clutch is let out. Mine required the white plug on the end which mimics the shape of the dummy weather plug that came out of the diagnostics port. The display is bright and easy to read, even in direct sun.
