The Year When Stardust Fell: a Science Fiction Novel by Raymond F. Jones...

Caveat Emptor
This story was read originally 50 years ago and very enjoyable, but this book is a newly published volume (no copyright date) thrift edition. The typeface is small and hard to read and unless you're young, you'll need some good reading glasses. The build of the book is fine, the cover illustration has no connection to the story. The low rating is for the readability not the content.

San Diego's Fishing Families
If your looking for a over all view of the mechanics of the fishing industry, you'll find the book is largely a family picture album. Which is alright if your a native of the area and looking for a historical view of the families that made up the industry of the past. Those individuals that come from the area will see their ancestors in many views. Missing is the machinery that assisted in the catch and the canning portion seems to be an after thought. Ralph W. Andrews 1959 copy of Fish and Ships is more of what I was looking for.

Lightweight is problem
The idea of the unit is great. How ever the base shoots it down. The base does hold it up right but does nothing to keep it from becomming a two handed job. There is nothing to prevent it from slipping backwards out of the base. The base does nothing to keep it put. Idealy it should have been weighted, or they should have included double stick tape to hold it down. I really like the rear outlets for more or less permenent connections while the front two are for temporary connections like thumb drives. A "A" for the idea and a "C" for application.
