Spectrafix Degas Pastel Fixative Pump Spray 360ml For Artists Pastels & Charcoal

Friendly fixative.

This stuff is very good. I had no problems with coating my pastel work with it, and it left no unworkable surface over the pastel, although I used quite a heavy coating. I would recommend this product to anyone who cares for an odourless application with no harmful fumes. I sprayed quite a heavy layer at first, which dried quickly and evenly, and left no sticky surface. I must admit that I do apply quite a thick layer of pastel on my paper, Pastelmatt, which holds the medium well, so perhaps the fixer was soaked up by the pastel. I see no reason for using anything other than this product, as I am more than satisfied with it. I would recommend a trial spray, pressing the plunger a couple of times, before pointing it at your work, as it does seem to squirt out a few blobs before settling down. This, however, is usual with this kind of spray system. Overall an excellent product, which leaves no unsightly drying marks.

Filter value plus

Not an expensive item. I bought one to replace a well known make of square filters. Cheap, I thought, maybe having faults, but not so, this is a very useable square filter, without the possible blemishes that were mentioned by the seller. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a very affordable filter, and still have the quality of a full priced one.

handy tool

Restoring a vintage Honda, I needed this little tool to complete the set. Good value which also adds to the value of the bike.
