If you have a type 1 VW this is the alternator you need plenty of power for bright lights keeps battery charged

They will fit!
These center caps will fit your chrome "hub caps" wheels, ask me how I know...
After ordering 2 different sets from 2 different sellers what turned out to be the same product from both did not fit.
What you have to do is make the (3) line up holes in the hub caps larger so the pins on the wheel caps fit.
I used a ½" drill bit.
Using a flat screwdriver place it between the black wheel and the chrome hub caps at the hole you are about to drill. This is so the c/h/c won't vibrate while you drill. Then proceed to drill, making sure you only go through the c/h/c. It will take no longer than 2 minutes to make the hole larger.
Once you have drilled all (3) proceed as normal in placing the caps.
Hope this help at least 1 person, they look good!
