DIY Maxi-IV Well-Cars

Frustrating that I can’t find modern rolling stock in O scale. More specifically, cannot find O-scale Gunderson Maxi-IV articulated well cars for 53’ containers which are the most common rolling stock on railroads today. Took matters in my own hands and with a hack-saw, modified the MTH 20-9501 along with 2 similar cars to make my own Maxi-IV well cars…😃

Converted the phase III paint scheme to phase V

Was able to paint these cars to match the current paint scheme (phase V) on most of Amtrak’s Superliner cars.

Great locomotive for the money
