Sharp images, excellent build quality and unbeatable value for money.
Picked my version of this lens for a good price. Well pleased with initial results, they all look very sharp. lens is solidly built and the movement of the aperture ring is very satisfying. The manual nature of the lens is not a problem considering the subject matter of my photo's when I'm using this lens if anything it's a plus point as it makes you take a bit care and thought before you click the shutter.
When you take into account that this lens cost me about a fifth of the price of a Nikon equivalent I am really pleased with the results. It's alright for people who can spend £1000 on a lens without worrying about it but for those of us who do have to take cost into account I really can't recommend this lens enough, I don't think a Nikon lens equivalent is 5 times better.
