WD Blue SSD Drives are TOP SHELF !
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich When SSD drives first came out, many of us heard about how fast they are, how light weight, and what amazing performance they could add to a computer. But many have waited, as with any new technology, the price was a little high compared to older hard drive/storage technology and we wanted to be certain they were reliable.
Well, the TIME IS NOW to "go SSD drive" if you haven't already. The prices are very reasonable now, and you now have the stalwart of the storage industry, "Western Digital" (WD Blue) making, and backing these drives up with their name, their reputation, and history of making quality products.
An SSD in my mind, is the single greatest and simplest thing you can do, to take an older model computer, and HOT ROD IT to run like you just put a new turbo engine under the hood ! It's stunning how much faster your computer will boot-up, how fast it will run, and it will run cooler and w/ less power, all while performing so much better. An amazing technology.
You can always use the SSD as your "main drive" to get speed and performance, and still use and older style "spinning" drive if you need very large amounts of storage to hold video, or photos, etc It's a win-win.
Go WD Blue SSD and you can't go wrong IMO. I'm going to buy another and have already told several other people- that I highly recommend they upgrade their machines now to a SSD drive. I told them, "Once you experience the speed improvement and the quiet and the cool running technology, you'll never be able to go back, it's that good".
Like I remember watching my first DVD movie, then trying to watch an old, grainy VHS tape afterword- you knew a DVD changed things forever. SSD drives and WD Blue are the future now. Go for it !!
