Simple humidity that does the job
Simple humidity meter that works, unlike the previous one bought from China. Very simple to use. Comes with batteries also; one just needs the remove the plastic protector to activate them.
We used it often in Africa, so it was good to know that Stihl is reliable as usual.

Most romantic touch to our 17th Century House

It gives out nice heat, and is very easy to light up once you know the tricks (keep the door closed and the two air vents open full blast; start with small wood, then add larger logs).
My only two remarks would be that one can only place smaller logs, so the fire will last about 1,5 - 2 hours and then you need to replenish the wood. And the glass on the front needs regular cleaning on the inside. But the fact that it has large glass front makes it beautiful, especially at night when one can see the reflection of the fire in the room.
