Gives Some Guidance for How to Develop your Spirituality

This is a beautiful New Testament, thoroughly thought through. There are several true stories of different ones who battled and won victory over various addictions, there are self tests you can take to see whether you're at risk, or need help. There's a section on the 12 steps, with meditations mixed throughout. There's also a recommended Bible reading plan at the end that is very gentle and yet gives direction to get started.

Excellent Bible

The 1984 NIV/KJV Parallel Bible is an excellent combination. Reader can read side-by-side the early English or an easier translation. Small concordances in the back are helpful, too. However, the hard cover may tear at the hinges, or eventually come off. I recommend taking it to your local library and seeing if they will apply book repair tape to the joints and corners, and put some extra glue in the hinges, from the start.

Don't waste.your time or money on this

The premise for the stories is cute, but the fact that the heroine lies to a lot of people and other mixed messages makes this story pretty worthless. The Pirate's Plot was straightforward, and pretty good.
