Not the prettiest but it doesn't need to be. Optical cables are a 'why pay more?' product and this one is the right length to connect a Chromecast Audio to my DAC without leaving surplus cable to manage.

Expensive but good value
Not really better than expected - I'd say it's excellent but expensive. But, given that the original strap lasted 11 years as my regular wear-to-work watch, it's still good value for money. And it suits the Traversetolo so well that any aftermarket alternative would feel like a false economy.
The strap was labelled 'marrone', which is Italian for 'dark brown', but it's more of an orange-tan colour - as was the original, so I knew what to expect. It will mellow to a richer, darker brown, but a few people have commented on how bright and fresh it looks right now. It's very thick and rather stiff, so it takes a week or two to adopt the curvature that will let it fit the wrist more comfortably. This is all part of its quality and durability, so no complaints from me.
Delivery from Italy to the UK was very quick - three working days despite being in the busy Christmas period.
