Great tool!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The perfect tool for metal detectorists. (is that a word?) Seriously, made very strong and will not bend or break. Its easy to make holes that allow you to find your treasure, and neatly fill them back in. Seems pricey for a small hand tool, but it's strength will convince you after using it a few times..

A true HANDY Camcorder
23 von 23 finden das hilfreich I really love this camcorder so far, although it has options that I have not used as of yet. The picture quality is excellent, and the ease of use is excellent as well. It fits well in your hand and has a quality-built feel. Battery life is so-so with the stock battery. A word of caution on aftermarket batteries. I wanted to extend my operating time and thought I'd see what was available aftermarket for the camera, as the Sony batteries were expensive thru them. I bought one on EBay, and when I went to use it in the camcorder, it would turn on and then the screen said "USE INFOLITHIUM BATTERY" and the camcorder would power itself off. This shows that even though the EBay listing showed the battery would work as a direct replacement for the Sony Battery, it actually would not work at all. So learn from my mistake- buy the Sony battery, at least for now. Also, buy the movielight/flash from Sony- its a real plus in low-light situations, and has a better flash built in it as well.
You can't beat the convenience of Hard Disk storage- no cassettes, discs, etc.- just plenty of disk space to record High-Definition video onto. The software provided is at the moment the only software available for use with the camera, as I was told. It is pretty easy to use, although, after downloading the software package onto my PC, I lost all DVD audio in my PC, for some unknown reason and haven't recovered it as of yet. Possibly a compatibility issue here with my hardware, although my PC is only about 5 months old. So, other than these 2 minor issues, I am happy with the Camcorder as stated. Sony really has a great product in the HDR-SR1
