Previously impossible results with this long telephoto - HANDHELD!

It is amazing what this lens can do - HANDHELD! If you are thinking of going mirrorless, the availability of lenses like this is a game-changer and makes the change much more than a body upgrade. You will get the ability to shoot with inexpensive lenses like this and achieve results almost impossible previously. Bird photography on tripod? Never worked for me. Canon might be slow to innovate, but when they do it is worth paying attention

Great value for versatile range - HAND HELD tele shooting!

If you have an R body with stabilization and high mp count, this lens will impress. IQ is perhaps not amazing, but plenty good enough for telephoto. The main game-changer is that you can shoot hand-held, even with 2x extender, and at near macro ranges - unprecedented at these focal lengths. You can get photos with this lens that are all but impossible with lesser gear. For the price the buy decision shouldn’t be very stressful. And don’t worry about using and extender - they work perfectly.
