Awesome smooth bearings
Great bearings. Packaged nicely, no problems, made my 78 Honda ride better than it ever has!

Had lots of trouble mounting them - flawed design, but looks very good.
Bought these and a set of front and rear fenders for my ‘78 Honda xr75. They arrived early and nicely packaged. On first inspection, they looked amazing; they’re made of a thick, sturdy plastic and boy are they polished to a shiny vibrant red! The only issues I had began with mounting them- I immediately mocked them up on my bike when I received them, and to my disappointment, the three mounting points on both covers were not at the same depth levels to fit on the side mounting holes on the frame. It took me around 2 ish hours to get them fully mounted on my little Honda, and to do so I had to do a lot of cutting, and had to use a heat gun to soften them a bit as to avoid bending the covers and inducing white ‘plastic frost’. The provided hardware was nice but the big fat shiny screws on the corners are kind of distracting. Overall they greatly improved the look of my bike, but it was very labor intensive to actually mount them. I would like to see some possible design Improvements as it seems like Maier just used photos and not an actual part to replicate them off of... Not really worth the $80 price tag and would like to see them for cheaper, but it’s the best option compared NOS parts price wise.
