Good quality, good chainring combination
I bought these to try a shorter arm length, 170 instead of 175. I did not notice a difference in stiffness from 105. They work well, spin true, and shift well. I did not weigh them but they didn't seem to be significantly heavier. I like the the 46/34 chainrings much better than 50/34 for my terrain and fitness level. I don't understand why the 50/34 combination is so popular and the only option on higher end stuff.

Nice combination of durability, supple, and light weight
Seats nicely on the rim and spins true without having to coax it. Rides more smoothly than the slightly larger 28s I have before. I'm not one to push tires to their limits of grip so I cannot say just how good the grip is, but it is certainly sufficient. One minor complaint is that these run a bit small. The width measures 25 mm on rims with 19 mm external width. I am sure it would get closer to 28 on a wider rim, but I doubt it would reach 28 mm. I also have a set of these in 32 on another bike which have held up well, and they measure about 30.5 on rims with 20.5 external width. My ideal would be these in a 30 mm size since the 32s are a little too close to the crown on this bike and the 28s are a bit small.
