So, one the surface, this appears to be well made, but there is one glaring problem with it. The ribbed collared end of the bowden cable where the latch grabs either side of it is 16.8mm. The OE part is 18.0mm. Checked both with a micrometer. What this means is the latch will not grab the collar. I put the latch spring in a press to compress it, but that is not a good solution. Even after installing it. I don t hold much hope for this in the long term. The spring also has too much force. The plastics, however, are high quality.
