This Tatula HD Reel Far Exceeds the Pre Launch Hype
Before I purchased this reel I swore I would never pay XX amount of money for a fishing reel. Then I got caught up in the slick videos Daiwa did before the launch and I purchased one just as the Striped Bass season was slowing down on the California Delta. Within 2 trips on the Delta I was sold, I could not believe how much further i could cast the same lures i had been using all Fall. The retrieves were smooth, drag was excellent, I was sold. Even a few fishing friends were amazed at the casting distances I was able to get.
Needless to say I now own 4 of these reels and plan to get 1 or 2 more. No more ties, shirts or gift cards for me for Christmas I want a new Tatula fishing reel :). Just like all of the other reviews you have to try this reel to fully appreciate it. i am pulling in Striped Bass, large Mouth Bass and Salmon with this reel. I love it and won't be switching away from it any time soon.
