It's OK
Works OK if the object is tight against the cowl over the lens.
Does not focus if the object is any distance friom the cowl.
You get what you pay for.

Looks promising
The mahine as advertised and sold needs considerable work - it was purchased with that in main.
Eventually, it should prove to be fine
