easy to ready and simple to use

A nice compact and very versitile camera
I am very impressed with this product even if it has been discontinued, I obtained it at an extremely good price second hand.
My overall impression is the very good quality build and solid feel about it.
I have not been able to put it to the full test as it is supposed to be a christmas present but what I have seen so far it has some very impressive features; what was impressive is the wide angle to optical zoom and then digital zoom resulting in some good results when over 10 metres an individual leaf from the plant was not blurred or pixelated.
There is more than enough for me to explore when I finally get the camera for xmas, a task I am relishing.
One of the reviews mentioned the camera's fussiness for the type of battery you put in; what the person may not have realised was the type of battery has to be selected from the set up menu and placed as the default.
I believe that this camera will give me good service alongside my point and shoot Samsung L730.
