Solid Performer
This is a long-discontinued transformer that still provides the required power and contRol for Marklin analog HO train layouts. However, it does not offer the advanced control features of the more modern digital systems.

Great Gitzo Quality
The auality of Gitzo tripods is well-known, and this GT2542L is a ptime example. I purchased this specifically for a week in the Rockies during which I would be moving frequently. Since I would not be using a long lens, this 2 series seems perfect (a longer lens would require something heavier). The fit and finish are great and the operation is smooth. The stability is very good with the camera setup that I will be using. I expect to keep this for a long time.

So far so good. Because I had previously installed Focusrite Control, the software immediately recognized this new Focusrite device, and setuo eas no problem. Have not recorded yet, but an online jam session went well.
My only critque of Focusrite interfaces is that there does not seem to be a way to boost incoming Line signal when dealing with consumer -10 db sources. The manual says that sometimes a separate preamp is needed. This should have been simple to add.
