Gambled and won!
Had significant trouble with the rear door of our Santa Fe not wanting to open. Did a heap of trouble shooting, and guessed that a fault lay in this mechanism. Expensive part to replace (even more expensive via the Hyundai Dealership), but took the gamble and found that this new part did indeed fix the issue. Part arrived sooner than expected. A bit of a mission to replace - you need to pull most of the rear door apart, but it's not that daunting thanks to a few you tube clips. Very happy.
