So Happy with This
I am a DIY hobby mechanic who took 2 years of auto shop in H.S. I subscribe to the US VW Touareg Forums and have read decent review of this clamp upgrade. I am very pleased with its performance and also am SUPER HAPPY that they finally fabricated it out of steel/metal. I hesitated buying the older plastic version because it was way over-priced and had some not-so-good performance reviews on the forums.
My Dad has the V* in the same year as mine (2004) and when his OEM center bearing clamp inevitably fails, I will definitely repair his car with this product! Thanks for reducing the price by $100 too!!
