The Marvelous Mariah Carey
The Billboard magazine with the title, "Mariah Carey...The Queen of Christmas," was a very terrific issue; it was very informative, and it showed the exceptional stats of Ms. Carey's career. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the articles, and liked her sometimes "wicked" sense of humor; it was very entertaining. I loved the section in which the magazine states that she was the queen of shading before we even knew about that; her most famous quote, "I don't know her." I also liked the details of every popular song and lesser known songs that she sang and co-wrote. The photography was very well done; there were very beautiful pictures of her and the people that worked with her. I really do feel that "All I Want for Christmas is You" deserved to be in the top 100 Christmas songs of all time; it definitely is a modern day classic. Kudos to the writers and photographers of this wonderful edition of Billboard magazine. Do more special editions like these for artists like Madonna, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, and more!
