This is for the Raspberry Pi 2 though you can make it to work on the Raspberry Pi 3

I purchased this for use on my Raspberry Pi 3 know that it was for a Pi 2. Since there are 5 kits, I used one of the processor heat sinks for the Pi 3 ram chip by cutting off one fin and filing the side down a bit. This is not needed on some cases but my multi layer acrylic case required such modifications. TIP: I actually sanded down the face of the fins to expose the aluminum underneath for a two tone heat sink.

Works well with Motherboards that support this spec memory.

Great high performance PC2-8500 memory. I run this in a Gigabyte motherboard, 4 sticks for a total of 8 gigs of ram. I have now started over-clocking my rig after installing a plug and play water cooling kit. The memory is running great.
