A School Like Mine
This book was everything I hoped it would be. It had pictures of real kids in real clothes - not costumes like one would wear for a festival. And it had such a good cross section of coutries and activites in which the children were involved. The photographs, although some were small, overall were very informative and interesting. I plan to use it in my ELD (English Language Development) class. Kids love to see their homeland and to see how others live.

Say Yes to Yes Day!
My students love this book! Every year that I read it, we decide on a day that I too can say "Yes" to every request. They get some ideas from the little boy in the book, but they never seem to fully take advantage of it. I do make a rule that it can't go against school rules (no food fight in the cafeteria) or kindness rules. With this purchase, I've been able to share this book with my colleagues who will also have a "YES" day with their class.

My favorite foundation-cover!!!
I love this foundation from Mary Kay! It's a light cover, yet blends the imperfections of my skin! I use the light-medium which adapts to my skin color as I apply it. It stays on all day, until I wash with my nightly routine. I often couple it with a light cover of Mary Kay's Mineral Powder but it's not really needed. When buying on eBay, it's often a better deal than from a consultant, IF the expiration date hasn't happened. However, you can expect to pay at least $10 for good quality.
