The only way I could achieve anywhere near the 37db attentuation specified was by keeping my fingers pressed against the plugs.

Charger EXPLODED
Perhaps just my bad luck, but charger EXPLODED after about 10 minutes of charging - loud bang with flame and firing off pieces of the plastic casing tripping all electrics. Subsequently also damaged the workings of the phone. Potential to cause injury - hence my one star.
Quite liked the phone but would not recommend risking the charger and to use a USB lead instead.
