A Great Addition To My Sewing Tools
This arrived very promptly and was well packaged. It took a little bit of guesswork with interpreting the instructions, some of the pictures aren’t brilliant and the translation is a bit odd in places but I sorted it all out and started experimenting. As a semi-industrial machine it is very fast, much faster than my overlocker which is pretty speedy, so it did take a bit of getting used to. I did several practice pieces before attempting to use it properly on a piece of clothing. I hemmed two pairs of suit trousers and I think that they look amazing, so professional and much neater and tidier than sewing machine blind hems or hand stitching. I haven’t quite worked out how to fasten the thread off without risk of unravelling so at the moment I’ve been sewing beyond the finish point, pulled a long thread and then finished that bit by hand. I ‘ummed’ and ‘aahed’ about buying this but I’m really pleased with it and I think that it will be a great asset to the finished look of my sewing.
