Lovely book, great historical pictures of a beautiful river
I bought this book as I have a boat on the River Avon. The book gives an excellent visual insight into the history of the river and how its history impacts on how the river is today.
I'd say the book is well worth having if you have an interest in either the river or any of the towns along it.
Although second hand the book is in excellent condition and was very good value form this seller.

A beautiful and interesting patchwork book for those new to the craft
I bought this book as someone who has done patchwork but had no books on the subject, I have made a good start. The book is beautifully illustrated as one would expect from the V&A and gives clear instruction on basic patchwork techniques as well as interesting snippets of history on the subject. All in all a good book for beginners and those interested in patchworks history.
