like new again
I was able to install this in about an hour. Pretty simple. Performance of the compressor is like new again, builds very quickly to 155 psi. I also replaced the rear motor bearing 6203 at the same time, much quieter machine now. I would highly recommend this as a way to restore this model compressor to great functionality again.

tip no good
Even though I only ran this for 2 1/2 - 3 min at a time (letting it cool between sessions), the tip disintegrated after 2 hours. This iron may be ok for the rare occaisional use of a couple minutes, if you need something for average to rigirous hobby / craft work look elsewhere.

The Best
Very good quality, good price for not getting them in bulk. Spend the little bit of extra money for Amphenol, and as long as you do a good job of soldering them on, they will not fail you, as might less quality connectors. Bottom line, find them as cheap as possible, but always use Amphenol. PS. Never use budget cable. Get the best you can afford. Cable and connectors are almost as important as the antenna.
