Legitimate information to break the cycle of suffering.
This book brings hope that a person can heal from trauma. I trust this man who has dedicated thirty years of his life to understanding the suffering of people that are overlooked or outcast. He gives clear explanation of the research, to explain how the brain is injured by trauma. He shares methods of healing so we can go beyond the limits of talk therapy and medicating ourselves into oblivion.I am excited to use this information to take back my God given power to choose what I think and feel. Some of it I have already used, with success, in reducing anxiety and social phobia.

This book can help intercept the downward spiral of worry and self-doubt!
I feel that Jon Acuff has presented some very creative and positive solutions to overcoming anxiety and negative thinking. This book offers hope that we can change for the better through our own determination and effort, rather than limping and coping with life by relying on medication or therapy. This book is written with honesty, compassion and a wonderful sense of humor!

Really can heal arthritis, even if you only do 80% of it.
This information is very useful. Some of the content is difficult to maintain realistically ; mainly eliminating all environmental toxins. But this book healed my 55 year old friend's arthritis in his knees. He resumed running daily after following about 80% of this books recommendations.
